Here is another from Yosemite.

Bridal Veil Creek, Yosemite National Park

Very nice! I remember walking along that section of stream several years ago. Wonderful place.

Thanks Steve. This was about 10 feet of the paved trail going up to Bridal Veil Falls I didn't have my tripod with at that moment so I set my 67 on a big log, some of which is in the photo.

Ektar, P645, a150, @f/5.8 Av, July 4th parade... I got a Dwayne's scan but the whole bunch was terrible this time, over exposed, over contrasty and over sharpened. Have to scan the roll myself. And see the differences in color response between scanners and software. Scanning's a tough nut.

Oh, and I shot the 150 at f/5.8 in an attempt to get a bit of that 6x7 feel... not sure I got it

I'd say you captured that feel. Some neat classic cars.

I had the Rattles, a great old German Rock & Roll band, in my studio these days. Perfect time to try out my 67II with a flash system! Even though it can only do 1/30 in flash mode, the results are more than satisfying. Used a Profoto Air Remote. Film is Kodak 400 T-Max. Tried out several lenses, the 100mm macro is perfect, here I used the 45mm.

Nice pic, a real vintage look to the photo (and band!) ... can we see more?

Yes but Islay has better single malt (Ardbeg been forefront in my mind along with double cask Lagavulin) and with a tripod there is no problem...

Cheers,

Luc

Really superb Tuco. Like black ziggurats reaching into the sky. Great composition and tones.
