Nice work Jonathan.
I've only ever shot one roll of Fuji 400H (might have been NPH), and it was expired and I shot it with my Lomo Belair so I don't really know what it's like. I do like the colours of your stuff.

In January I finally finished a roll of Velvia I had started last October in my Mom's 645n. I dropped of the roll on January 25th and didn't get it back till yesterday
I'm a little concerned about how much longer my E6 lab will continue to process.

Here's a few from the roll. All were shot with a 645n, FA 45-85, on Velvia RVP.

This one of me was taken by my mom at my request.

Great color from the Velvia, and nice photos. I have a few rolls left of the 100F. Are those structures in the second one on the middle strip of land? Great to see a photo of you, too. The fall maple is nice, also. Bokeh must be a hallmark of MF, I guess. David

Thanks David.
RE structures, are you refering to the sign and signpost in the third shot of the lake?

I haven't tried Velvia 100F yet as I have quite a bit of Velvia RVP still, and for 100 speed slide film I really like Provia and still have some of that.

I was surprised by the bokeh in the fall maple shot as it's at f/4.5. It turned out better than I expected.

Just won my local town photography competition with this shot! First ever competition entry, and hardly the best shot I've ever taken..!! Can't complain though.

I just saw the sign. No, there are several white objects that look like cubes near the lake below the sign, and then two darker objects further inland. I can see now more what the scale is, and they must be very small, actually. There is an interesting scale trick here for me. Anyway, I probably should have seen that, but it's still interesting in that way. I actually have Provia in the 5n now, so I'm interested in how that turns out.

Very impressive!

Are these HDR or "normal" pushing in the RAW-converter?

Pentax 645D, 35mm A lens, f13, monopod, polarizer

"Rebuilding After Sandy", LBI March 2013: The dark ominous sky represents where we have been; the small bright blue area in the sky represents where we are going; the crane represents how we will get there; the footprints leading from the lower left to the crane represent the fact that we have been there, and can do this again.

No HDR on these, just using GND's on some of them and pushing the RAW files. I'm really liking the ACR of PS CS6...able to push the files much more without creating strange pixels along horizons and tree branches, leaves, etc. On one of the images I pushed the Blacks and Shadows to 100% while bring the highlights and whites down to close to -100%, then punched the contrast to 100%...file still came out looking clean. Then did some more local adjustments in PS.

The ice typically photographs very flat with little contrast, especially if it doesn't have side light on it, so it needs some punch!
