Brandy, I love that first picture of the dog! How on earth did you get the dog not to respond to the jarring "kerr-jrrrrrrr-clunk-clunk--jrrrp" sound of the 645N shutter / film advance?

By the time the dog heard that sound, the picture was taken.

P645N - Provia 100F - Frosty morning

Some recent pics from a frosty morning. Pentax 645N with Pentax-A 645 75mm and Provia 100F:

"EXIF" is embedded in the negative :-)

Scanned using an inexpensive CanoScan 9000F - I'm still in the learning phase. I have since learned how to straighten a slightly crooked negative ;-)

Haha! Poor dog...sadly he's used to it and pays me no attention when I take a shot. The better question would be how the sleeping baby didn't wake from the noise!!

This is my first post to the "Medium Format" thread. These are non-Pentax, but as I have seen other brands mixed in, I thought it would play. These were all shot with a Hasselblad 500cm and 80mm C T* lens on Kodak Ektar ISO 100. They were scanned on a Heidelberg flatbed scanner. I have been writing down the stats in a notebook, but don't have it on me at the moment.

First shot is at a church in my neighborhood here in Portland. Upper right is blood from an unfortunate dog incident a few weeks back. Did not turn out well felt kinda morbid to photograph it.....but I hadn't seen blood that red before. Bottom left isn't the dog that did the biting....this is Leo, one of the coolest dogs around. Bottom right is a sunset near a farm just west of Portland

I am still getting used to/learning the camera system and also working through and tweaking the scanning process. Removed dust and what not in PS and did some corrections in LR4. Critiques are welcome....in fact, encouraged as I am looking to get better at this

My assignment was to create an image for "sharp" and this is what I ended up with. Shot with Pentax 645d and the fa 120mm macro lens.

Here are a few more from my first couple rolls with my Hasselblad 500cm. All of these were taken on Kodak Ektar 100 using the 80mm C T* lens.

Sarah in a vintage store here in N. Portland......Elowah soaking up some sun......Greens along a trail in Forest Park.....and the fruit trees blossoming out in Hood River with is east of Portland about an hour.
