I can't say I've ever seen anything like that before. But any additional info like it happing on the last frame which is the first frame on the development reel might be a clue.

Edit: They say to tap the development tank to release any air bubbles on the film prior to starting the agitation cycle. Perhaps that is what they look like.
I do tap the tank a couple of times, quite firmly, but I was thinking maybe not firmly enough. I've just checked and that was the first frame actually, so that might be relevant. It doesn't look like nay light leak I've ever seen but maybe I just need to take more care when loading and do it in more subdued light.

I'm pretty sure that's developer bubbles - or maybe in the fixer? I've had the same problem, but only with MF FP4+ for some reason. It was in exaclt the same place though.

Sometimes the end of the film has a 'lip' that may be more prone to trapping bubbles. I try to wind the film all the way in to the reels past the ball bearings now, although I'm not 100% sure that's what it was.

Seriously good image though!! That is one that makes me want to look for similar conditions, unlikely in my part of the country but looks great!

thx!

my morning began down underneath all that fog and it was cold, dark, wet, and windy...I was wearing several layers including ski mask and gloves...I leave and drive up the mountain where it was easily low 70's and no breeze at all. Such contrasting conditions.

Waiting for a couple rolls from the lab, and editing a couple more. For now, photos of my two favorite animals. Shot with my Hasselblad 500cm and 80mm lens on Portra 800.

great stuff, everyone. Here is one from yesterday. That is Mt. Diablo on the horizon, seen from atop Mt. Tamalpais.

Shadow Play

single frame(not a pano), shot with the FA150/4 on the 645D
I thought I was looking at a double exposure at first. Normally things fade in tonality in distance. Did you do a graduated mask and darken the distance, perhaps?

2 bracketed exposures (0 and -2), manually blended.
no saturation added - it was like that in the RAW.

Beautiful scene and excellent photograph. Love the gradient from warm to cool tones. I want to go there.
