Some film on film action....Photo of my Pentax LX w/ viewfinder. Shot with my Hasselblad 500cm w/ viewfinder.
Ay, on a whim I bought a K2 for £40 (to use it with the 8-element 1.4/50mm). So surprised how long 36 exposures go! And what a brilliant big viewfinder. Although incomparable to the LX, especially with its waist level finder.
But also a little puzzled how to diversify the use of my 6x6 cameras, 645, and this one which still isn't pocketable.

Looks like the post in March 2011. Do you shoot your 645N anymore? You get such beautiful landscapes with it.

The 645N ws destroyed in a fall accident and replaced with the NII model. I don't shoot with it any longer. I switched to digital because of better dynamic range (I really struggled with it with the geography we have around here), processing was getting very expensive and I had to ship the film 2000km for developing. I also sold the scanner.
In fact, I don't shoot much with anything anylonger. A shame. I'm waiting for a new Pentax flagship model to get an excuse to get out photographing more. I can't afford a 645D although I have four lenses for it.....

Sorry to hear. Yes, positive film doesn't have very good DR compared to negative film. It doesn't have to be one medium or the other. Heck, shoot both. I use my film cameras mostly for BW and digital for color with an occasional color shot on film.

A couple from a concert in the park on Mt. Tabor here in Portland. The band is called Sasparilla, they have a rock, folk, blues, jug band type vibe to them. Homemade guitars, bath tub bass, harmonicas, and a chick playing a washboard/accordion. Really a fun band to watch.....especially when you're sitting in a park drinking beer

Shot with a Hasselblad 500cm and 80mm C T* on Kodak T-Max 400
