I went to Rocky Mountain National Park yesterday for some hiking and photography. I lugged the RB67 around as well as an Olympus OM1.

Developed the roll last night using Xtol at 1:1. Film used was Delta 100 shot at 100.

Tonight I digitized the first negative from the roll. This is my 3rd roll I've ever developed and the 3rd roll through the Mamiya.

I am EXTREMELY happy with the Mamiya and absolutely love using it. I am very new to film and it brings a whole new love of photography to me (I usually shoot digital). I'm going to have to pick up a Pentax 67 or 645 now that I see how fun shooting medium format film is!

Anyway here is the photo from tonight.

What I like with this one is that you didn't use too low a speed on the water. I have developed a real distaste for water that look like candyfloss. It's also refreshing to have a break from the fad of super narrow depth of field pictures.

With 100 film and deep DOF usually means a tripod with MF film. So in the case with 100 film and handhold work, shallow DOF is practically inherent to the format.

I am trying to add only those photos taken on Pentax medium format -- I notice there are lots of 'other make' photos posted here so is it OK ?
'African' -- a double exposure of a map onto some African figures using my Pentax 6x7 Mk II and 135mm f4 SMC Macro-Takumar lens

My first try on Pan F+ with the P67II 105mm F/2.4

Pan F+50 @50
HC-110 Dilution H
6.5 minutes at 73F (30" continuos inversions + 2 inversions every minute)
Epson V600 (no PP only dust removal)

I will try EI25 next weekend at an antique car show.

I've been trying to tell myself - stick to black & white film..but I love the Portra 400 in 6x7. Crisp photographs, great colour, easy to scan. Bronica GS-1, 110mm. Yes, its my little girl - and she is the most beautiful thing in the world!

Hey! Nice shot.

You say 21mm... Is that a typo or do you mean 25mm? or is there a 21mm lens you can somehow adapt to use with the body?

Thanks,

Ed

Thanks for the clarification Vlad - I had visions of there being a 21mm lens that can somehow be used (and I would have been very interested in that!).

All the best,

Ed

Quick question.
I don't have a medium format camera, but I like to use Pentax 67 lenses on my Nikon.
Are their images welcome here?
Cheers
OH
Well I see shots from a Hassleblad here, and no one complained. But as Johnathan points out, the thread is for medium format, and the Nikon is 35mm, correct?

(I guess I should have read through the other posts before I replied, sorry! )
