I took this today with my medium format film camera. The photo was taken at Hoseshoe Park in Rocky Mountain National Park close to sunset. The sun was setting just behind the mountain to the left, briefly lighting up the lone tree on the hill.

I intentionally didn't crop the film borders fully, I kind of like the effect of showing the film edge on some photos.

Taken with a Mamiya RB67 medium format camera on Foma 100 film. Developed in Xtol at 1:1.

Here are a few from my recent trip to Colorado. Unfortunately the 67ii was too heavy for that trip so I took the Fuji GF670 and shot 7 rolls of Velvia 100F

1. Abandoned Mine in Teller County

2. House at the Vindicator Mine site

3. Old machinery

4. Victor, CO

5. Victor, CO

6. Victor, CO

And a few from Garden of the Gods.

Beautiful work everyone. I'm almost ashamed to be posting anything in here.

Having more time these days to get the camera out and learn more about it and the lenses. Absolutely wonderful files to work with IMHO.

Poor Planning - I had a good idea we would have some colorful sky/ clouds at sunset, but got distracted experimenting with the 150/2.8 and 2x teleconverter... and noticed the time too late to make it to the one spot in town where we can see the western horizon. So this is a grab snapshot from the backyard - a suburban sunset, if you will. Taken with the FA 150/2.8

Moonshot - Also taken with the FA 150/2.8, I tried this with the 2x TC but found getting critical focus a bit difficult - focus throw is a bit tiny for my klutzy fingers. Much easier for me with the A-series lenses. 1024x768 100% crop out of the image.

Great b&w landscape CJ. I always take a roll of black and white with full intent, but never end up shooting it, one day!

Here is a 6x12 crop from my P67 45 f/4 on Kodak Portra 160. Ive been admiring a lot of 6x12 film work lately and am feeling the GAS.

Lovely composition which looks like a painting. Is that a PP effect?

Thanks Arnold. It was shot with lee ND Grads, hence the even balance of light.
A .45 (1.5 stop) Hard Edge along the plane of the lighter rocks In the creek bed and then a .6 (2 stop) Soft Edge that hit full graduation at the top of the trees in the center of the image.

All that was done in Post was in Lightroom, just lifted the shadows a little and color balance. The original scan had to much green in the mids and highs and a little to much yellow in the lows.

Acros 100 on Pentax 67 with S-M-C Takumar 6X7 55mm f/3.5 lens at F22. Exposure is 15 seconds metered at the edge of the roots. Wanted the high F stop to give large depth of field. Had to use the super wide angle to show as much of the root as possible.

Developed in Xtol 1:1 for 10 minutes at 68F. Scanned with Epson V700 at 3200 DPI and 16 bit grey. Passed through LR 3 to retouch a little for dust. The negative shows root structure in the darkest parts that are lost in the scan.

Yes, even though she had to blink once. I made sure she could hold the pose before opening the shutter. At the short focal length, small movements are barely visible anyhow.
