A couple with the 645Z and FA 120 f/4 macro All handheld.

1. ISO 800 f/11 1/200

2. ISO 1600 f/10 1/400

3. ISO 1600 f/10 1/500

Whoa, that is some intense detail and sharpness, excellent.

thanks - the auto focus is a bit clunky on the 120, but it is a good sharp lens and the bee seemed too engrossed in his feeding to notice me!

645z, iso 12800, FA 75 f2.8... at f2.8.

Highly usable at this iso. remarkable and for low light, focusing is a breeze too. The menus are easier to use than my old K5.

I love how much texture there is in the clouds in #3 and B&W was a good choice for #4! I haven't read much on the camera but looks pretty amazing from your shots.

Not to to derail from all these digital MF shots..

All with 645Z:

Love those and since my wife and I just cancelled a trip to Scotland, you've made me very sad. We're going to Nova Scotia instead, so a New World Scotland. Here's a stitch with the 35mm A of a cold front passing over Lake Erie; nothing remarkable in this, but I really like this shot. I will go back and fix the lake levels at some point.

Great! Keep those "average shots" coming. I'm enjoying them, despite their averageness.

I've only shot astrophotos with it so far excepting this Shasta picture. I like the close focus and the flatness of the field. It's crisp to the edges.

I will take more astrophotos with it soon and finish the roll that's in the camera.

Also I was never very close to 1:1. Closest I got was 1:3 because the wind was blowing the thistle around, I played safer to catch the focus on a rare moment of stillness. A better macro shooter will get even more detail out of it than me.

jwatts-- The 200 Pentax is a winner and superior to the Takumar. I've had one for 24 years now and it is way sharp. The design type is similar to the Leica reflex lenses in that focal length range.
