Hi 672, nice images. And I am not sure why the images looks not sharp enough when I view them on my PC (like a little out of focus kind of unsharp). They looks sharp when viewing on my phone though.

Maybe it is my monitor though. ..maybe is some kind of auto resize used in my browser?

Well, the third one I am not too sure about. Seems like the 28-45 is too much for my tripod head. And that was an 8 second exposure. Might be shaky.
The stone shack is pretty sharp on my laptop screen at 100 percent.
The first image is on the 28-45 at f14 , perhaps there is some diffraction.

Keeping the ISO low is something I simply like to do, I understand that at times an image is actually better with a higher ISO, but I have such a hard time bring it up. With this camera, Im not so much afraid anymore, but still, the Image I am posting is with an ISO of 100, at f/8 and a shutter speed of 1/10, and oh yes, I used a tripod, Took awhile to get all the sand off. 1/10 actually seemed fast, and the hula dancer was great whenever I said,,,,,"Hold that". I cropped the photo for her as well, of just the Head and shoulders, its amazing how much 51.4 MP on a Medium Format can retain. So far.... loving this camera. Sunset in Waikiki.
Nice shot.

What did you use for lighting? Looks like a nice off camera flash exposure to me.

Thnx,

Susan

hello itshimitis , is are these lates images with the NEW 28-45 lense. what can you tell us about it? I have the 25mm and the 45-85. Wondering if it should get the new one. thank you,,, love the images.
They are indeed with the new 28 - 45. The lens is very sharp, but also very large and very heavy. I think this is one occasion where I could have done with my 25 as I can't get into a position at this location to get a little more of the water in the left bottom corner and a little more space in the top right.

The 28 - 45 is in my view superior to the 25 - just a pity it isn't 25 - 45. The ability to use normal filters and Lee filters via a adaptor ring is a godsend. I'm still deciding what to do about my 25, whether to sell it or keep it.

Nice. I really appreciate how the whites are not blown out and your compositions.

Love the first one. Very moody sky, fall colors, and great composition.

A bit of heavy processing here, fair warning.
