I've never shot Portra before but I really like how it looks. I'll probably try a few rolls in the future.

Thanks a lot Mike, means a lot coming from you.

Two from Trevose Head about 20 miles southwest from where yesterday's were shot. This was meant to have been yesterday's shoot, but it was dull. Nice light this evening and then I jumped in the car, got some fish and chips in Padstow and then drove the 400 miles to the Lakes.

You guys are really making me jealous... winter is setting in, if I didn't have my feeder birds I'd be totally bored.

Terrific (as usual), and I love the spectacular depth of field.

Love the dynamics of color and light.

I love the blues of the second shot.

It's amazing how much light stays in the sky after sunset. Only a little of the reds are visible to the naked eye. The sensor picks up the rest. This is an hour after a not particularly stunning sunset in the area I was in - the mountains block all views to the sun in the location in any case. This was a full hour after sunset

Pentax 645Z DA 28 - 45, 35mm, f/22 1min 20 secs ISO 100

Another , somewhat ethereal shot with the 645z and HD Pentax-D FA 645 90mm ED AW SR Macro. And oh what a mouthful of lens description that is.

Beautiful! Is this the shot right out of the camera or photoshopped? Either way it is beautiful.

I have increased the saturation of the reds and reduced the luminosity slightly of the reds in CS6 to intensify the colour that the camera recorded, but not excessively.
