A couple of the sun with the 645Z 400 f/5.6 + TC 2 x

I obviously didn't use the viewfinder for these. I used live view to frame these:

1.

2.

3.

4. b/w

Nice shot but I'd either crop out most of the bottom section or composite in an alien (or a goanna) about to pounce.

PS: I knew women were big in OZ but not that big.

Thanks Bossa, I can't quite see how the addition of a goana will enhance my image, I like it how it is. Oh and thats a bloke mate... (y)

Thomas, I think Bossa may have been referring to the curves of the dunes the bloke is standing on. I may be wrong, but I sort of see it.

I was referring to the sand dunes. They can be seen as female anatomy.

The bottom of the picture serves no purpose compositionally and the eye gets lost in "nothing". You could have raised the altitude angle or just cropped the bottom to direct the attention of the viewer to the subject (A man standing on a female bottom/breast under the Milky Way).

Don't take that comment as a superficial sexist remark either. Fertility and the female goddess symbol have been around for thousands of years, and, as a serious artist (painter) I take those themes rather.. seriously.

PS> The goanna remark was a gratuitous joke. Sorry.
