Yes, very nice. Wonder if the 120 macro would be as good or better.

Another conceptual image I had great pleasure in creating.

Thanks for looking, Tom

Excellent portrait....I never thought to use the 105mm for portrait.....normally use a longer lens....
Thank you I am waiting for my Zeiss 150/2.8 to be delivered. It's been delivered from keh and sitting at a friend's place in Dubai. Hope to get my hands on that for portraits. Manual focusing handheld would be a challenge though.

Normally I'm used to the 85mm on my nikon so this 105/2.4 is quite close to that in terms of FOV and distance to subject.

2. These ducks must have been tired. They didn't move for the whole of the 15min 30 second exposure!

as the light faded, I'd forgotten I still had my 6 stop Little stopper in there and decided to just wait it out. Still had to push it a couple of stops in post too!

The butterfly left before the shot was completed. It was on the nettle bloom when the exposure was started.

I'm having trouble with getting the picture to show. Its from Flickr using the url from the share feature.

I love the 45mm for landscapes. I recently got a 75mm and I'm learning to love it.
