One of my favorite places--though it's been years since I've been. Lovely shot!

Here is another from just a few hundred yards north of that shipwreck.
Another great shot. Hope the launch for hire isn't the wreck!

Beautiful shot mikeSF!

I took this one yesterday on the Irish coast near Whitehead, County Antrim. 645D with A 150 f3.5 lens.

I'm still really struggling to get a colour profile that I like in the blue-green range, particularly now with vibrant Irish greenery! Conversely back in Australia I needed more zing from the colours I was getting. This is a LR export, whereas if I could get acceptable colours I would prefer to use Capture One Pro 8.

Fire on the mountain

Ben Cruachan this evening. 645Z and SMC Pentax A 200mm. Not the most stellar lens but has it's uses. Personally I can't wait for the updated 80-160mm (or thereabouts) to be available.

Alan Smithee-- What makes a great portrait? The right model, an interesting expression, soft lighting. You've got it figured out.

Two-shot stitch using the SMC A 150 f3.5 on 645D (f9.5, ISO 200).

This is a LONG way from Australia - I am visiting my family in N Ireland!

i believe right after molting, they are light colored like this and then develop brown or green as usual.

I'm not sure if I have it figured out, but I hit it sometimes.
