Luc, that's a terrible camera and really poor results you got there. Better save yourself further embarrassment by sending it to me, as I'm shameless and a very poor photographer - thus unlike you, I have no reputation to maintain
Pentax 645, A 75mm, Fuji 400H

But I have only 11 cameras and you have way more - that would tip the scale, break the camel back and all other nasty things....

Seriously, this one is a keeper.

Cheers,

Luc

Only 11 Cameras? What you need is something in large format. There is a beautiful Linhof Technika Field 4x5 in a shop here in town that would really put a dent in your wallet and totally break the camel.

I got the 67II finally, and yesterday I shot the first roll. These are with the 90/2.8 and Tri-X @ 400 developed in D-76.

All handheld and the last one was at 1/60. No problems with mirror slap or anything. I love the camera already!

And so should you because you get some great results with it.

Don't even go there. Some guys order a Chamonix and are having a lot of fun but I draw the line at 6x9...and will not hear the song of the Sirens.

Congrats on the new camera. That garbage truck shot has some interesting qualities to it.

Kodak Medalist II

All right - I also received my Medalist this Friday.
I was hoping to do a test run with a roll of TriX 620 but the weather has been to rain most of the week-end. This afternoon I could not wait anymore and I decided to go down our basement which has been totally gutted for some renovation taking place.

The photos are not much of course but what can I say - the lens is sharp - the camera is not the easiest to handle with its funny shape.
I took the pictures on a tripod - did I mention that the lens was sharp already?

F8

F5.6

F4

SO my camera is in good working order except that the roll skipped somewhat and I had some double exposure and some blanks. I might have be part of the problem as it has its very own lever to make double exposure
Overall I am very happy with the camera and I will send it to a good CLA (the RF can do with a major cleaning) and if possible convert the feed from 620 to 120.
After that Across 100 is calling because if I did not say that already I thing that this lens is sweat and sharp................................

Cheers,

Luc

Thanks guys! I really like to only have 10 shots per roll, since it makes me work harder for every one of them. And it gives me more time to edit each one after scanning the film.

I'll post some more tomorrow.

Why thanks.
The thanks should be all mine, for having the opportunity to view such lovely MF images. Even on the screen there is a difference, apparent. And you are something of a master, I would say.
