after using K mount stuff for years.

You certainly live in the right spot to get the most out of the format! I'll be very interested once you get your backcountry kit sorted how it compares to your old system--no doubt your "skin out" weight will take a hit, but I'm thinking it might not be too outlandish.

Yeah, I'll probably lug it along on specific missions but if I'm just going skiing and want to bring a camera it is more likely to be the little K-S2!

Went out for sunrise this morning and dragged my boy along too. Pretty fun when he joins me.

I was hoping the light would break through and hit the Castles but it never did.

A typical scene around here.

NIce. My 28 - 45 finally went in for repair today. Likely when the lens hit the floor, the retaining screws int zoom were dislodged. I can hear the screws moving around inside the body of the lens. I don't think there is any optical damage so am having it looked at by a very experienced third party repairer.

The view from the cabin, Rollei IR 400 on a Pentax 645. Sure a lot more cost effective than the new 645Z!

Shh. Don't let the secret out.

Very nice IR with the dramatic light and foliage contrasts.
