Hey Thanks Mike.. :-) I see you have the Z, I knew it was only a matter of time... You were one of the first guys work I took notice of using the digital Pentax 645 system. I look forward to all your future posts captured on the new Rig! Congratulations
Definitely agree. Mike`s work has a lot of us dreaming of some day acquiring digital 645. I may have to wait quite a while yet till it comes into my range used so I hope film lasts long enough for my P645 gear to keep filling in.

I blame Mike for my 645D purchase. I'd love a Z I'm sure but I could afford a D and I'm happy to have it!

Thanks for your nice comment.
I just sold my 645D for ~$2400US, having paid over $6K for it used - it is a great time to get into a new or used D, especially for landscape shooters for whom the extra speed and high ISO performance of the Z are just not as important. I can already tell I can take this new camera further, but if my bag had a D in it, i would definitely not be unhappy for a very long time, just saying.

Some from Budapest with the Pentax 645Z and the new DFA 35 f/3.5

because I was walking around with a view to going to dinner after, unlike this artist, I didn't have my tripod, so all of these are without tripod, though the last two I put the camera on the floor and set the timer...

Got outside to shoot for the first time since I broke my clavicle last weekend. My wife offered to carry the bag and the location is a nice area for dog walking nearby.

I grabbed the Mamiya 6 as we headed out for a walk in Palmer Park (Colorado Springs) and shot a roll of Neopan 100 Acros.

Terrific shots, which reminded me of a very enjoyable visit to the city years ago.

Now back at home. Parked my car in the wrong terminal at Heathrow, so had to get the Heathrow Express train to the terminal I had parked it at. Couldn't use a tripod, as strictly photography is not allowed within the Heathrow Express stations.

Pentax 645Z D-FA 35 f/3.5 at f/8 1/6 and ISO 800

Taken as my train arrived...

f/8 0.4 secs ISO 800
