645 and Fuji 160NS in Paris. The first one was underexposed by around a stop as I forgot to change the ISO from the previous film which was at 320. When I realised I went back and re-shot (without the passer-by) but it turned out to be completely unnecessary.

Thanks Mike, it was a great day for photos at the summit, there are so many colors and textures up there which make for awesome photo opportunities...

Jim, It's not the world as we know it.

....sorry couldn't resist a lame Star Trek parody.

Seriously, a very striking image and I would love to have been there too.

Thanks! You can actually drive up to the summit and then take short hikes to various vantage points including down into the crater and surrounding areas. The weather is unpredictable and can change quickly, elevation 10,000 ft. Clouds gave way at about 8,000 ft.[COLOR="Silver"]
I live at 7700 Ft. so I'm pretty familiar with mountain weather. Always an adventure! Just wondering as I haven't taken my D on many long hikes for the sheer size and weight of the system and then I don't have room for the extra gear in case I need to deal with crazy weather!

I'm kinda relieved to hear that--I was beginning to think you were superman, scampering around those mountains with a 645 & half a dozen lenses.

Not sure I'd call it scampering, and maybe three lenses and I still felt overloaded. I'm definitely not Superman!
That 67 300/4 sure isn't much of a hiker!

Keep in mind that you have to hike 6 times further to frame the same shot with your 50mm lens

True unless I'm trying to get enough distance between me and the subject for the MFD!

Some Reala 645 shots from Paris. I still have a few rolls of this film to finish, which I'm going to try to do this summer as it expired three years ago. I find Reala is very nice indeed in subdued light but in the bright sunlight it's very saturated with high contrast, which I like less.
