My medium format camera is a 1953 Franks Rolfix folder 6X9. When someone offered to develop 120 film, I got the old girl out and shot a few.

These look good and sharp. I've been itching for a 6x9 for a while, all my folders are 6x6.

There's no need to wait for someone else to develop your B&W - it's easy to do yourself (though if you have a friend that'll do it for free that's obviously better).

This B&W was Ilford 400 super, a C41 process. Twelve dollars to develop (True B&W $25). Scanning is another $10. One doesn't use these old cameras for their economy, but for the pleasure they give. So far I haven't done enough B&W to invest in doing my own. These 9X6 negatives have a lot of information on them, so I don't use the 6X6 mat that comes with the camera.

More awesome fruits of your photographic genius!

I like how you created balance in the sizing of road, tires, trailer bed, and foothills; beautiful movement in the horizontal spacing of the truck on both sides; a pleasing consistent palette of reds and oranges in the truck fruit, and sky; and a nice matched corner-corner contrast between the dark green foreground and bight sky. This an epic shot with both depth and breadth symbolizing the hard-working beauty of the area.

Mike, you are a big reason I joined PF.
