Ha! I grew up in Ann Arbor so I know exactly what you are talking about. Yes, it is much nicer here, smoke or not!
A short drive into Michigan from here. Travelling and much, much more photography is on the bucket list awaiting retirement just a few years away now.

Hi, ideally you will need to just get a P645 version of T mount, but unfortunately this doesn't exist. I can think of two alternatives. One is to first get a P67 mount, make an adapter to put it on your C11, and then get a P67-P645 adapter. This is the P67 mount I talked about:
http://www.mmjp.or.jp/takahashi-sb/data/tsring.htm#%83y%83%93%83^%83b%83N%83X67%83o%83%88%83l%83b%83g%8A%C2
Its front side is an M92P1 female thread. You can adapt it to C11 via a custom-made adapter.

The other possibility is to get the vixen P645 adapter:
http://www.vixen.co.jp/product/at/acc/373154.htm
Then you need to make another adapter to put this on your C11. Either way, you will need to make an adapter for C11. This is not that difficult if you know how to do it.

Is your C11 the HD version? The HD version should have a large image circle that can cover 645D's sensor. A standard version of C11 can illuminate a large area, but the outer part of the focal plan (even on 35mm full frame) would suffer from strong coma and field curvature. You may only get sharp stars in the very center part of your 645D image.

Cheers,
Wei-Hao
Wei-Hao,

Thank you for your response, I will look into your suggestions. Shame there is no T adapter for 645D. Sounds like some machining or a creative solution is in order.

My typical landscape workflow (in Lightroom 6) is a shadow boost, maybe +30, Blacks -12, and on this one I reduced the highlights for the sky, maybe -30 so I could raise the brightness of the whole image +15 without blowing out the sky.
Finally I have a Color Efex Pro preset I like for these kinds of images which is +12 Detail extractor, +20 Contrast Color range.
Matt where can I find this "shadow boost" in LR 6.xxxxxx?? Sorry but I'm a NEWBIE!

It's a slider in the Develop module just called Shadows.

You might benefit from something like a
to acquaint yourself with Lightroom. It's not hard to use but a guided tour can really get you going faster.

I didn't expect to be saying this, but I prefer the Rollei film for colour rendition, but it is much more grainy than the Fuji. Oh, well, I don't expect to do any more E6 after my one remaining roll of Rollei Crossbird.

Hope I'm still alive then and still shooting film. Maybe though, inexpensive gigapixel MF sensors in new lightweight bodies with a new lens design could win me over.

You just know who took some photos, even without the signature. But I would have never thought this one was yours. Where are the mountains, the sunset, the ocean, the clouds?

This is why I always use geared heads, once you go geared, you can't go back.

Yeah, I get called out when I deviate from my "thing". You may not realize I started life as a photographer shooting hummingbirds and bugs, mostly.
