Depends on your wide angle uses. Aside from being a back up, I have the A7RII for ultrawides as Pentax don't yet have an ultra wide. If you are using wide angle to moderate telephoto, then the Z will serve you very well indeed. If you need ultra wide or long fast telephoto, then the K1 currently would be your best bet.

This is really good advise ^. I have both the K-1 and Z . For landscape my choice is the Z. My widest lens is the A35. It's about the equiv of full frame 28mm. I can get by very well with that and with stitching (not all situations allow for stitching). In comparing I much prefer the Z's images.

My impulsive side sez - go for the Z! Get the A35 & the A120 - they are affordable and very good. I also have the DFA 55 with came free with a promotional last year, and other lens that I've picked up on ebay.

Nice one! Excellent color - it looks almost like a sepia print until the algal green pops into view.
Once again Mike, you have a great gift of interpreting color and I agree with photoptimist that the green contrasts perfectly with the sepia-type tone.

Thanks PhilRich and ishimitis for your comments. I will probably go for the K-1 and stick with it at least long enough to play around with about 30 pieces of full-frame legacy glass!

Two more Pano's this time at Glenridding on the shores of Ullswater with the Z and the 28 - 45 shot handheld - can't remember the last time I did a pano on a tripod!

Been very local for months now with health issues restricting my movements. I am hoping to go to Skye in early October so might have some new locations to share here after that trip. But local isn't too bad and gives me some excellent opportunities to make some images.

Very nice. I don't see many shots here from the 150mm f/3.5. I hardly ever use mine.
