Wow, that second figure skating shot looks incredibly dangerous! When I skated, my blades were sharp! These Z action shots look good.
This was the live action for that skater...

Same roll of Delta 400 ... and my oldest 6x7 has (re)started thin line scratching the film again ... merde.

I thought that I had done away with this problem. Previous roll was OK ... maybe another blow clean is in order.

All of these taken with a Pentax 165/2.8 lens stopped down a bit ... new lens thus a learning curve to conquer.

Very nice series with the 6x7 Jean, well done! Can I assume these were handheld?

Cheers, Allan

Bonjour Allan,

Yes, all handheld and the interior captures were maybe about 1/30 ... going fast and didn't make any notes, because the girls can be impatient sometimes (ha!) ...

Considering you were using the 165/2.8 makes them all the more amazing at a handheld 1/30 sec. shutter speed! I understand about the impatience.

Beautifully done! Magnifique! The 165/2.8 is a superb lens, I hope you enjoy it.
