Yashica Mat 124G and Fuji 160NS. Cropped due to negative damage from something inside the camera which scratched most of the roll.

The famous green goo from a few weeks ago. Shot with 645Z + FA35/3.5 @ f/3.5 and ISO 3200.

I'm dying for some good wide open pics from the FA 400/5.6 - I'm not sure whether to get that lens for my 645Z or just go for a more modern 400mm on my Sony body - somebody please convince me the Pentax 645 long tele is the way to go

I've used the 400mm on the z a lot in wildlife photography, is a fantastic lens. My other goto long lens is the 150-300 zoom. I use both lenses mostly without a tripod, just free hold, point at the action and shoot. On a tripod the sharpness increases substantially.

Just got the A* 600mm, and are very impressed with initial testing. Although a tripod on this one is a must for me, it is simply to heavy to hand hold. However the jury is still out on the 600mm.

Good to hear! Looking very forward to seeing some examples from the A* 600/5.6 There are relatively few examples available on-line shot with these lenses on the digital bodies.

My thoughts exactly about the 400 and 150-300mm zoom, both sharp, light and easy to handhold. The 600 is a great lens, but so susceptible to vibration that its use requires considerable care; it's also so heavy that I find myself using it only when the 400 simply is not long enough.

Although it's been quite a few years since we were there, it reminded me of the Hendrie Valley.

More with the A120 macro. These little files do no justice to the full size jpegs.
