I've had good results from my A 45, on film and the D. Best value in 645 lenses, I think!
If I recall correctly the A version gets very good reviews, it's the FA version that doesn't.

It's not that the FA45 is a bad lens, it's just that the FA 45 - 85 is better and people expect primes to be better than zooms.

Thanks Susan - haven't seen you here in a while, or have I not been looking in the right places? (typical male observational skills!)
I've missed you all. Been busy with lots of other things. Thanks for noticing😊

Gorgeous. The first is my favorite. Did you have a polarizer on? Love the clear, deep colors.

This camera doesn't have a bulb mode. Only a T-Mode. And I assumed how it worked. Come to find out during the show it doesn't close with a second press. In a panic I found the if you advance the film it closes. But I guess you need to cover the lens first as seen in the horizontal streaks. Go figure.

hey you spotted that? it was so dark, i never saw it parked there with the door open. I suspect the driver pulled over for the night and was sleeping under a warm starry sky. Looks like a mid 30's Ford but I really don't know antique cars.

This is in the highlands just north of Jenner. Sounds like you know the stretch. We did begin at Bodega and go up near, Ft Ross, Sea Ranch, Gualala. Then drove home.

Here is one from near Salt Point State Beach:

Well done.

I'm wondering what size brush you use to blend the two layers. I've yet to try this.

Thanks!
I like the sky with the clouds (vaguely) mimicking the water turbulence. For now I'm going to keep it but I appreciate the input and always like to hear what others would do with an image.

No polariser on. I used the one in Nik Color efex. For a software one it's pretty effective.

Laugharne in South West Wales as the tide turns from High to Low. These are taken 10 minutes apart, and the tide has moved out massively. Crop is different as there some people using a huge drone to film the castle ruins and it took a messy route that was too complicated (for me at least) to clone out.

Both with Z and DA 28 - 45
