How big is the 300? I have a CZJ Sonnar 300mm, and that thing stays home as it weighs 2.2 kg. I've taken a total of 2 photos with it...

It's fairly big and heavy being all metal and glass. But the results are very pleasing even if they might be a little fiddly for focussing

Smaller than the 67 300/4 I'm replacing with it! But it's not small.

Thanks, nice series with the * 300! You gave me enough confidence to buy a A*300 from Japan. Only € 276,-- Unbelievable these prices for some of these older 645 lenses.

My favourite walk around lens, but I still don't have the 28-45. Price is still a bit to steep for me. They don't come around much. I hope some more will pop up now some more people
probably jump to Fuji GFX.

I am considering a Japanese FA45-85 also. My father has passed on, so I had to batter my A45-85 myself, and now it will not take a filter or screw-in hood. I figure I will keep using without a hood and also upgrade to the FA version. Saw one for only around $350.
