An architecture appearing to be tornado, sandstorm, and forest fire resistant -- should have applications in divers locations.

Love the colors here with the soft rendering under overcast. An effective understated, subtle composition well done.
Thanks

I was thinking it was bomb-proof, like a coastal 'pill box' gun emplacement

Bodiam Castle in East Sussex - built in the 14th century. Think about how much has changed in the world in the intervening years. And yet how similar the stars looked, back when those walls were new.

645Z with 25mm f4 DA lens.

Arsat 30mm f 3.5 fisheye

I like this lens for general wide-angle use, and use the standard range of devices to reduce the fisheye distortion. Image quality is quite good, and pretty consistent all the way to the edges. Note that the pond shot is a 50% crop from the original. This lens is a good alternative to the more expensive Pentax 67 35mm f 4.5. It is a little wider and offers a one-stop advantage over the Pentax lens.

KIT 645Z and (adapted) Arsat 30mm f 3.5 fisheye (with P-6 to P645 adapter).

I've wanted to find a signal light like that without cars as in the second photo to do a long enough exposure to capture all the signal's light on in the final image.

Around where I live structures and builds don't go back more than a couple hundred years at best. And when I'm around something that old I often pause and try to reflect the lives of the people who would be walking around there at that time. I think I'd really be lost in thought if I did that at a place that was around since the 1400's.
