Congrats and I look forward to seeing more, @Blasst

Playing around with my view camera. I used a window with a nylon sheet over it. Some window framing artifacts showed up through it however. It takes me forever rotating and tilting standards over-and-over trying to get everything in focus with a 180mm focal length.

4x5 FP4+, Symmar-S 180/5.6, PMK Pyro

I had to read up on what a view camera was. Could you explain in more detail how you used the window with a nylon sheet? Trying to understand how your set up works. For just playing around that pic looks pretty damn cool!

I have stories of crossing Donner Pass in a big truck when it has been snowing, and the snow turned to rain.

Cal-Trans was making all big trucks chain up.

Wait.

What?

Yes, it had been snowing.

But.

When the rain came the snow went away.

Snow chains on wet pavement? Tears the chains and the road surface up.

Crazy.

Thanks.

Sure, the surface is smoked plexiglass in front of a bay window. I hung approx a 60x80 inch sheet of white nylon over the center window because that's all I had. Now when I got down at a shallow angle of view, the white nylon reflected off the plexiglass. I used some reflectors on the camera side for fill. A much larger window would be better. When it's nasty outside, these shots are fun to work on in the comfort of your home.

The snow was ok!
I recently found the mask i a old basement.
I saw the mask for the first time, i felt somehow unkomfortable and scared.
I talked to a friend about it and we planned the Picture.
