I agree with Kaseki….great colour scheme on the building, and textures on the concrete foreground!.....the colours would also be worth a separate study?? Rgds

In some ways a more beautiful shot...wow, no central heat for a month! I hope you had a wood stove....
I still had electricity and two commercial greenhouse fan heaters going. I also have a woodburning stove. So no great hardship. The issue is with an air source heat pump. I read elsewhere of some poor soul having heat pump issues and having to sell his 28-45mm. Luckily mine is still under guarantee for this round of repairs. However if I stop posting pics on the forum completely you will know what has happened.

A handheld panorama from the battlements of Fort St Elmo in Valletta Malta, looking across Sliema harbour to the Valletta's modern sister city of the same name. This was taken last November. 9 portrait frames with the Z and the DFA 55mm 2.8.

It can seem intriguing but nondescript. However, the body of work as a whole creates an aesthetic, a mood, an expectation, a wondering that is quite magical. It's cumulative, it shapes the viewer as we view.

It very much your own and, despite being quite unlike what I do, I love it. Bravo, sir!
Thank you very much for your comment Ed! It is what I like about strolling about in the right places to stimulate serendipity.

Pentax 645Z
Pentax 67 55-110 ( Great lens! Actually together with the 28-45 it takes care of a great reach.) I am not much of a techical reviewer but I just posted a small review on this lens.

Here is some rural stuff near our village in Normandy.

Thank you! This old beach resort from yesteryears contains some of the weirdest color combinations on their houses. In this case the colors somehow go well together especially in combination with geometric impression of the scene.

Very nice result!....I'm curious about the handheld technique....there's no obvious distortion after stitching, and no 'ballooning' in the centre...that's because it's quite a w/a view? Cheers.

Nice to see your use of this great Mamiya lens. I have been using this same lens (along with six other Mamiya 645 C lenses) on the K-1 and K-3. Several are quite good, and I love the build quality of the C series. I hope you will continue to share your experiences and photos with the 80/1.9.

Retro Pano

Testing out a lens recently I found some old images files on the memory card and thought that I would give a shot at a two image pano and do a slightly different approach in PP from what I had originally done. I have not put much time into my personal photography in the past few years and thought that I would post just for the experience and fun. Later this summer I should be able to put more effort into serious landscape work. But not quite yet. It is a new discipline with a serious learning curve.

Three snaps with the Z

Here are a few snaps with the Z and one of my favorite 645 lenses, the 90mm. I need to take a trip out west where there are some real mountains and outside scenery to use this lens on!
