Honeysuckle--domestic and wild

The wild honeysuckle, captured along the creek back of our house, is white, and the brightly colored one is from our garden. Both have a sweet fragrance.

Primary for local elections is next Tuesday. I don't know who Bafflegab is but the 645z delivers incredible detail.

A few images from a hike, with my wife, through Glen Leigh along Kitchen Creek this past week. Testing out the DFA 28-45. Beautiful and serene stand of rare virgin forest in PA.

F22@6.00 sec, Kase magnetic polarizer rotated 25 deg off maximum effect

f22@1.00 sec, Kase magnetic polarizer

Really great landscape images--sharp and detailed. They sure speak well for the 28-45/4.5. I will be sorely tempted to go for this lens once the pain of acquiring the 90/2.8 wears off. Excellent work, and I will look forward to seeing more images from this fantastic lens.

Thank you for your kind comments on these images. I must admit that I am more than a little impressed with the output capabilities of this lens. Sharp as a tack from 5.6 at all focal lengths. However, hiking with this kit and a few spare lenses through wet, steep, rocky and rooty environs is a challenge compared to a K3II or K1II with primes. Quite heavy.
