Well, think of it this way - you have ended up with an even higher resolution version of the scene!

Flowers in early August

I like using 65Z and Pentax 67 55mm f 4.0 for flower photography. There is sometimes some perspective distortion with this wide angle lens held close to subject, color fidelity and bokeh are good properties. Because of very short MFD, all these shots filled the frame with no cropping except minor bits to correct framing.

There is a small town near where I live that actually has 867 as the first three numbers of their phone numbers. My friend's dad had a cabin out there and he really wanted 867-5309 as his number because apparently he wanted to be harassed all day. He was an odd man.

Anyways, my summer gardening has been going great:

Ha, perhaps it would make him feel like he owns a part of pop culture.

Went to a new location yesterday evening, but chickened out on waiting for sunset, something which I was cursing myself for as it was spectacular and I was given the view towards Langdale Pikes on my drive back to the house, just to rub it in with nowhere safe to park up and shoot.

PS. Do you live anywhere near the swinging bridge over the Souris? Heard it’s been upgraded since I crossed it.

Thanks!

I live about 30 minutes north of Souris, was teaching in the high school there for a bit. The bridge has indeed been upgraded, as it washed away during a rather nasty flood that hit the Souris River in 2011.
