Cool shot, Nesster. That camera looks small in your hands. So much for the complainers that the 645 is too big, lol.

I went on a hike yesterday and since I lugged the camera up there I feel compelled to post a shot to justify the effort.

That would be a good spot to be at the crack of dawn with fog in the valley. But on a day off it's hard to get up early enough to arrive at the destination. Maybe in the fall...

Hasselblad 500C/M, Zeiss Planar CF T* 80mm f2.8, 100 Acros, PMK Pyro, Grad ND 0.6 + Yellow Filter, Pentax Spotmeter V

Hello,

Little bit of an adventure to get a working LS-8000 out of eBay.
I missed the first one, overpaid for the second one based on the comments from the seller that it was from a professional photographer with little use and in perfect condition. When it arrives, it had been packed with no space between the cardboard and the machine so it was damaged during shipping and it looked to have been heavily used

So back to seller with a refund pending from PayPal.
Finally the third one at a more reasonable price has arrived and is working.

A couple of shots to try the scanner

So far so good...

It's a waist level finder. I was just joking around. You get 100% view, reduced camera weight and easy critical focus on manual focus lenses with one. Sorry to hear all the scanner shipping problems. Packing without protection is just plain stupid is as stupid does.

I do not think that you can put one as the system is all in one block as opposed to LX or 67.
Well one day I am pretty sure that I will end up with a 67ii or a Hasselblad 500 but not for now :ugh: I am still impressed with your picture of the rocks in the stream - now I do not know which part is the developer, which part is the large negative, excluding the photographer

from the equation.

Well, the shot is cropped a lot to remove the river bank on the other side and a tree branches on one side of the frame. The image is from my Hasselbad with a 150mm CF T* lens if that's any help for you. The results, IMHO, would look pretty much the same with a bunch of different film and developer combinations.

And since white seems to go accent white with the rapid water (this was an overcast day) in a long exposure whether you captured it in the film's range or not, maybe a film that has really good at mid tones would have been better. FP4+ comes to mind.
