500 C/M?? We have a defection in the works! I was talking to a friend yesterday evening and she has a Hasselblad ArcBody that she never uses. Now that is a rare beasty. I am hoping to talk her into taking it out for some shooting.

No I am talking about keeping and using both

I am somewhat of a maniacal/depressive or something of the kind for camera/lenses

645 Bag#1 Pentax 645 plus A-35mm + A-55mm + A-120mm Macro = the back breaker
645 Bag#2 Pentax 645 plus A-45mm + A-75mm + A-150mm = easy hiking

Hassel Bag 500CM plus 50 CT* Distagon + 80 CT* Planar + 150 CT* Sonnar = stay out of the rain on the sunny side of the street

Am I happy or what!

Hasselblad 500C/M, Zeiss Sonnar CF T* 150mm f4, NDX400 + Green filter, 100 Acros, PMK Pyro, Pentax Spotmeter V, 6 minutes

Hasselblad 500C/M, Zeiss Distagon CB T* 60mm f3.5, 100 Acros, PMK, ND2.7 + Grad ND filters, Pentax Spotmeter V, 60 seconds

Technical question as I do not know anything about long exposure.
The burn on the left middle that seem to follow exactly the sand, is that some kind of flare or sun reflecting on the spray or fog? Or something inherent to long exposure?

Long exposures are like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're gonna get

The Sun popped out from behind the clouds during the exposure it looks like. The bright streak on the water points right to that being a reflection in the sand is my guess.

I posted some of my first B&W's with my 6x7 in the Post your Photos section, but here are some more. All shot the the boulevard of Scheveningen, near The Hague, with the SMC Pentax 55mm F4 and the camera loaded with Ilfort FP4+ 125

Square Peg, Round Hole

I just didn't fit in. While walking along Bandon Beach, I came across a group of people apparently on a photo trip. They had virtually identical gear. The beach that day was ruled by Nikons. It wasn't cold. They must be from a warm state. I was wearing short pants and long sleeve tee-shirt. And there was no rain in sight. I went over to talk to them but they saw my camera and they were not very friendly. And it wasn't just them. Another guy with two Nikons one a FF D3 acted as if he was offended. I guess you just have to have a digital to fit in.
