Good time exposure work, Tuco, and an effective & interesting composition.

That Arsat 30mm is wild - and the pond looks wild, with the ripples and plant matter mixed with the reflection... I like this better than if everything were mirror calm.

Thanks. What continues to surprise me with low light shots is how much brighter the scene looks than when you take the shot. I needed a flashlight to see what I was doing yet I think the shot looks like there is plenty of light.

Thanks, Nesster. Those TLRs are great camera to carry around and if the focus matte in my old Rolleicord wasn't so bad as to only be able to use in bright light, I'm sure I'd use it more often.

Luc, you obviously know your waters. I would not disagree with either of those choices and in fact hold them in the highest regard. I will however have to mention Talisker as another top malt. And the best blended in the world, Té Bheag, even for those of us who think blending is a horrid practice. It's harder to find than single malts and very good value.

I know it is all a matter of taste. I never took on Talisker.
I also tried the new distillery on Islay that by all account should produce an excellent product but again had to come back to my favorites hands down - based solely of course on my own personal taste.
I also like the water way up North - Highland Park.
And for a light lunch nothing beats in my books - Rosebank - down South.

Rosebank, never tried that. It's been a long time since my budget could stretch to a malt actually. Another reaons it sucks to be poor. Talisker though is like a fire in the stomach, especially nice after coming in from the cold and needing some warmth inside. But perhaps I am off topic!

Tell me about it I which that 12 or 18 years ago the distillery had put more casks in production. This would help keeping price down.
The good thing is that I do not drink much so a bottle goes a long way. Still...

I don't like Talisker, drinking a drop, it leaves your mouth as you had smoked five cigarettes... and I stopped smoking seven years ago...
They use bourbon casks, I don't think it is a good choice.

Here you have something more refreshing...

A photo buddy said lets climb to this lookout and get a sunrise shot. We departed for the destination at 3:30AM at the great expense of some beauty sleep. But the Sun was already up by time we made it to the top. This lookout is built on top of boulders at the very top of the mountain.

Hassy 500C/M, Distagon CB T* 60mm f3.5, Yellow filter, PMK Pyro, Pentax Spotmeter V

And here is a view standing on the deck of the lookout
