lbenac, one page late but I have to say how much I enjoy those images! And now I have yet another place to add to my list of trips abroad.

Thank you - traveling is always such a boon for photography.

Cheers,

Luc

Nice. Obviously you didn't handhold it this time.

Very nice! I like the visual lines and the similarity of patterns.

Is that a very long release cable or a timer

Nice classic look, a la Bergman.

I just receive my Fujica GSW690 to go along the GW690 (about 28mm and 40mm in 35mm equivalent). I am quite happy with it as I purchased it from evilBay. No light leak, advance is smooth and shutter seems right.

A test shot at my usual park. Hand held wide open f5.6 Tri-X @ 1250 in Diafine. Of course there was no light and it was raining the first day I can est the camera.

Cheers,

Luc

Thanks all! The camera was on my simple Manfrotto 190, shot at 1/125 with MLU and using the selftimer. I prefocused on a mark on the table and tried to hold my head as close to that plane, which obviously worked fine.

Great shot. Clearly you're enjoying the 67. Here's an old abstract with the 45mm:

Indeed! I'm a total gear freak and I've had ~50 lenses for my other cameras, but the Pentax is the one I like the most.

Ah, that's clean! Very little distortion for being so wide too. I've been thinking of getting either the 55 or the 45.

Last Sunday, I took out the evil twins Fujica GSW690 and GW690, with some fine grain film as I never tried them with slow film.

GW690 Efke 25 Rodinal Stand

Maybe the lenses are not as sharp as a Mamiya 7 based on USAF chart but if I get that result, who gives a damn

Cheers,

luc

Luc, even at small size that's obviously sharp and has great definition.

Continuing the How Old Can You Go thing, here's a few from the first roll of Neopan 100 through a ~1923 Goerz Rollfilm Tenax with a Dogmar lens.

I still need to do some internal lens cleaning & trace down that light leak, but I'm liking the results

A few more with the 75/4.5 on P67II, Tri-X @ ISO 800...

And one with the 105/2.4...

This was a 20 minutes stand development, and the results got a bit uneven, unfortunately.

In November I spent an evening at Schoodic Point, Acadia NP under the Full Moon. I had been wanting to expose some Acros on the ledges at the shoreline. I am glad I did. I am very impressed on how this film works in low light. Accutance is very high and it has superb reciprocity.

This is an image taken with the P67 45mm @ f/8 Hyperfocal 15 minutes exposure. Acros in Xtol.
