We took the kids to the park during some strange 50 degree weather and I got a chance to play with the Rolleiflex some more. Sun this time of year seems in rare supply, so figured it'd be nice to shoot some color while I was at it.

Just a snapshot of my son wondering why the ducks are all gone.

Wow the 645 is really impressive and talk about shallow DOF! That looks like Los Poblanos and some of your other photos are obviously taken on the Los Ranchos de Albuquerque. Thanks for sharing them.

Thanks. It's the Schneider and it's really sharp and surprisingly contrasty for a 50yr old single-coated lens. I've seen a test showing it's incredibly sharp in the center and really abysmal at the extreme edge, but mine seems reasonably sharp all the way out.

Great things happeing in this thread! I'm not too good at commenting, so I'll just say to you all; keep it up.

Pentax 67II, first two with 75/4.5 and the last one with 105/2.4...










They are all from the same film, but the middle one is PP:d very hard to get a dark sky, so that's why it's very much grainier. This was Ilford HP5+ @ 320, which was a bad choice. The scanner has so much DR that I had to stretch the flat files very much, and thus grain actually gets worse than if I expose at 800 and develop longer!

Makten, if the grain bothers you , I would suggest using the glaussin blur filter at 1.1 prior to any sharpening. This will smooth the grain so it is not so strong. Then sharpen as normal.

Lovely shots by everyone Indeed it is hard to comment on them all.
I must say though, the shot by Vertex with the Rollei is impressive. Sharpness looks great, nice lighting and exposure for that Ektar too.
