More medium format foxes. Shot with E200 at 600ISO. Film five years out of date! Original is very brownish.
Pentax 645NII with the 150-300/5.6 lens. Hand-held. Image cropped.
Really nice landscape on that other picture. And I'm surprised these foxes don't bolt at the first smell of a human even with a 300mm. Are they use to seeing people?

They are puppies. I had about ten trips to these foxes and one of them (the one with the "dent" in his left year) got acclimatized to me. His (or her) siblings did not.

Here it is checking out my camera bag

I did not express myself correctly what I was talking about is the rotation of the axis of the shift on the lens itself which allows for 360 degrees by 30 degree steps, not the tilting on the camera itself.

Vertical shift = 0 degree ^
Right Horizontal shift = 90 degree >

I am talking about the positions in between.

Cheers,

Luc

Great photos, Pål. With what lens was the first taken, the landscape (and where is it) ? Handheld, such a zoom, does that mean a fast shutterspeed?

The first image is shot with the Pentax 645N with the FA645 45/2.8 lens. It is shot in Iceland. Either beneath Eyafjellajøkul or Myrdalsjøkul (or was it Vatnajøkul?) - you can see part of the glacier in the upper left of the picture. If it is the former it is probably gone by now due to the volcanic eruption last year, but I do think it is beneath Myrdalsjøkul.

The fox image is shot at F:5.6 at 1/90s. It is still sharp even hand-held.

Great shots, Pål.
The foxes are interesting and the landscape is great.

Nice Provia shots Rense. It's interesting to see how they compare to your digital shots from the same scene.

These are incredibly cool. Tumbs up for the good old Yashica (and the photographer of course)...

Beautiful rendering of a beautiful place. I like the two waterfalls in the same frame.
