Love those images Martin!

Here are a couple more from Alaska.

Alaska locomotive 2003 was taken with my Pentax 645NII and the 80-160mm A lens. The B&W image of the office building was taken with my Hasselblad 501CM and the 60mm CFi lens.

More from the P67 and 105/2.4, this time with Portra 400 at EI250. Really amazing film, the grain, sharpness, and color never fail to astound me. I'm going to try pushing it to 1600 next time.

First time I've been on a ferry that was practically empty. I felt compelled to take a shot.

Welcome to the forum! It looks like you have been putting your camera to good use in the Skagit Valley!

Yes, welcome. The freeway gets backed up from the number of people leaving the tulip fields on a peak weekend.

Thanks guys - very excited about my upgrade from the D3x to 645D. Spent some time today trying to dial in corner to corner sharpness on my 35mm manual focus lens. I previously was very pleased with my D3x/24 PC-E combo - and am very happy to report that I was able to exceed that with my 35mm copy (at 100%, and a much higher resolution).

I have been testing my newly acquire Panorama head for the Minolta Autocord on our park next door and it works fairly well. Not the most exciting picture but it is 5 6x6 negatives stitched together in PTgui.

And just a little bit of close-up by contrast :-)

All in Acros 100 souped in Diafine 5+5 (not my first choice for Acros)

Cheers,

Luc

Interesting pan. Any difficulties with consistent scanning and adjusting each shot for the stitch?
