Nice. Did you have to hike far for the shot?

A couple of weekends ago I hiked a mountain that was high and steep. I decided to take my dSLR to cut the weight down. I reached a spot and pulled it out to take a shot. But I forgot to put the memory card back in it. Talk about carrying dead weight. Stupid. For that trip, I would rather have remembered to bring the memory card and forgot the camera instead.
I didn't have to hike far at all really, this was quite close to a car park area! (I'm too honest! ) However I did do a bit of a mad dash up the steep walk trail to the lookout point. DSLR on one shoulder, 67 on the other and tripod in hand. I had arrived late in the day and only just caught the last light on the mountain tops. I'm glad I did it though.

That really sucks to lug a DSLR up a mountain and forget the memory card. It's very easy to do. I went to a car show last November with DSLR and a few rolls of film. Wanted to concentrate on the digital that particular day and just took the film along as "fun". Of course I forgot the memory card... Pulled out the MX and the battery died on that too, but thankfully that wasn't a show stopper.
...
But of course, taking multiple cameras on any walk uphill is another matter altogether!

Thanks Frederic! The second shot of the girl with the rose is lovely.
To be honest I'm a bit surprised that you guys seem to like my shot that much. Perhaps it's because I can only see the flaws

I'm quoting myself from FM forums:

I've been developing all of my B&W films in Fomadon R09 ("Rodinal") for the last months, but I thought I'd try something else. These are shot with Pentax 67II loaded with Tmax 400 and developed in Tmax developer 1+4. The grain is finer and the tonality is easier to handle in the post processing, so I think I like it! :-)

All are shot with the SMC 6x7 55/4, which really is a great lens. I can hardly imagine the later SMC 67 55/4 to be better, but it probably is.

The fun of trying new film/developer combos. Nice series!

The Pentax 6x7 Lens Guide shows the 67 55mm having 8 lens elements instead of 9 as in the 6x7 55mm with a shorter min focus distance plus the extra weight of 110 grams of mass.

Nice results Martin.
I haven't tried Rodinal but recently have been using Ilford ID-11 which is supposed to be very similar or the same as Kodak D-76. Prior to that the only dev I have used is Tmax at 1:4 same as you.
I seem to see some pretty distinct differences between the two. For me the Tmax made a very contrasty negative with good sharpness but a fair bit of grain in general. The ID-11 1+1 resulted in much less contrast but finer grain. However I need to sharpen (add USM) more after the scan to get it how I want with the ID-11.
I think I'm kind of preferring the ID-11 but have another 2 bottles of Tmax arriving soon. I would have just stuck with the Tmax if I could, but it was hard to find over here for a while.

But I do agree with tuco, it's fun to experiment.
...
As an aside, I know some people who are in Stockholm at the moment. Apparently you get a lot of sun over there at this time of year?
