I actually did a longer pano than this, but CS5 wouldn't allow it all on the same line. This is a 5 shot stitch in landscape using DFA 55 at f/18

You are correct. I thought first that it was only a soft corner made worse by the stitching software but it might be that the third image is not the right one for the pano - shot at different aperture and/or focus point . I still have several rolls to develop so I hope that I found a replacement third image.

More from the Bessa I + New Portra 160

Are you finding the New Portra 160 easy to scan?

Not bad at all, though the Bessa came out a bit flat - I have a P645 roll still to scan so I'll have better data points then.

It's been good for me so far on the few rolls I've shot. The WB adjusts quick and easy even though I don't have a profile for the film base in my scanning software. The New Portra 400, on the other hand, has been more difficult for me. I get purple in the shadows and just can't seem to adjust it out until after the scan. I don't have a profile for that film either.

Yes, I found the New Portra 400 in 135 was purply as well. The 160 in 120 is if anything slightly yellow, which as you say is an easy fix. With the Bessa I find I have to increase contrast a touch as well, but then the original scan isn't so bad, it's more a matter of taste.

Good to hear I'm not alone finding the Portra 400 being "purply".

It also gives a very warm rendering, which is nice sometimes. But when you get both magenta AND cyan casts at the same time...

Very nice...now we will all be hankering to get a Bessa III. After we get a Mamiya 7, of course...

What to do with a 30mm fisheye on a 645D ...... get in close for portrait work of course.

Arsat Zodiak 8 3.5/30mm rectangular fisheye in availble light for the fist shot and there's another one from the 30mm in the current POTW thread.

The B&W was spur of the moment and a "Hold it right there and don't move" kind of moment when walking to go outside and the 2.8/55 lens was still on.
