Steve

Thanks.
Will do but it would probably be almost a year from now. There is snow there until June/July and this is NOT a ridge you want to be on when there is snow.

Cheers,

Man I wish I could join you guys Looks like a fantastic location. Great job on the shots, Luc.

I've been a bit quiet of late, been a bit busy for various reasons. But will hopefully shoot and post some more soon, maybe some more B&W planes...
I still like viewing this thread though, of course.

Yesterday I did not take the LF kit as I was expecting the light to be not very interesting, when I went to walk one of our "dog allowed" beach. Instead I took the Hassy with 50 FLE and 150.
I ended-up be totally wrong, walking 12 km and running through 3 rolls

Hassy 500CM 150/3.5 TMX Tmax developer 1+9 (two shots)

A few more from the week-end at the beach...

Hasselblad 500CM Sonnar CF 150/3.5 TMY-2 Tmax Developer 1+9

Hasselblad 500CM Distagon CF 50/4 FLE TMY-2 Tmax Developer 1+9

Hasselblad 500CM Distagon CF 50/4 FLE TMY-2 Tmax Developer 1+9

I put a 12 pictures portfolio of this sepcific area taken over a few shoots. I find the area very interesting as it has a mix of industrial, beach, river...
If any of you guys has the patience to have a look and give me their opinion?

Some from my German trip

I spent 8 days travelling around Germany, visiting 13 cites. Some truly beautiful cities: Dresden really took my breath away! Some of these may be a little snapshoppy so apologies in advance:

The Golden Rider of Dresden

Pentax 645D FA75 @ f/8 and 5 secs, ISO 100

Heilbronn was another beautiful place, which was devastated in the Second world war - 7,000 people killed in less than 20 minutes. I saw this interesting statue at the back of the church that is the focal point for the city

Pentax 645D FA 33-55 at 43mm f/11 1/15

Munich is a great city with great atmosphere it has this:

Pentax 645d FA 33-55 at 33mm f/11 1/30

it also has this:

645D FA 33-55 at 55mm and /5.6

Hereīs a shot from my first try at Medium format! Shot on expired fuji velvia 50 with a Yashica D I have on loan from a friend of mine. Handheld and metered with a K200D.

After shooting few rolls with Yashica, I have become more and more interested in MF. The tonality and crispness of the images is just shocking. I might get a Hasselblad or a Pentax 67 after I return this camera back to itīs owner... CBA creeping in...

Last Sunday the weather was beautiful for a hike in the local mountains.

Pentax 67 55/4 Acros 100 in Pyrocat HD 1+1+100

I think that Acros calls for an orange filter. Yellow filter is not enough in that kind of range. It was OK on these shots but for many others the range (the way Acros lighten blue in the sky) was too much.

Cheers,

Luc

Here's a couple of film images from a Pentax 645N

Frangipani
Koko Head Plumeria Gardens, Hawaii
Pentax 645N, SMC Pentax-FA 645 120mm F4 Macro, Fujicolor Reala 100
1/250s-F11-100 ASA, Microtek Artixscan 120tf

Frangipani
Koko Head Plumeria Gardens, Hawaii
Pentax 645N, SMC Pentax-FA 645 120mm F4 Macro, Kodak Portra 160 NC
1/125s-F6.7-160 ASA, Microtek Artixscan 120tf

It's getting harder to find places to get film developed locally. I'm thinking of just buying the equipment and doing it myself. I already have a decent scanner.
