I spend a lot of time relaxing in the Lake District. Weather was a little better this time.

This was from a few days ago and I hung around for the last light so had to walk back to my house in the dark. But I think it was worth it.

Some from yesterday:

One of my regular walks takes me past this barn which always catches my eye. I decided to shoot 4 shots to make a panorama to put the barn into perspective

Pentax 645D FA 33-55 f/16 1/25 Cokin ND8 stacked with Cokin Graduated ND8

I then got to Grasmere and passed this lakeside house:

Just after the sunset I waited for the wind to change direction to grab a shot with a still Grasmere

Pentax 645D FA 33 - 55 at 33mm f/16 30secs with cokin ND8 and Graduated ND8

I continue to work on my photography and hope that I am steadily improving. time will tell!

The ledges of Schoodic Point featured with Cadillac Mountain as a backdrop. Shot with the P67 & 300mm f/4 SMC Takumar under the light of the full Moon this past September. I recorded an exposure of 20 minutes at f/8 using Kodak E200 film. I had to go by the distance scale for focus and at f/8 left infinity slightly out of focus and possibly the closest foreground areas. Not bad for shooting in the blind.

Deep twilight at Schoodic Point, Maine, October 2011. An 8 minute exposure using the P67 with the newest version 55mm f/4 @ f/8 on Fujichrome RAP. The near full Moon illuminates the foreground. Gradients seen in the sky here are not on the original. That is thanks to my Epson V600 and .jpg compression.

Arrived in Taiwan last night and in a slightly jetlagged state as the sun set today, I grabbed my camera and took a few shots as the sun set through my hotel room window on the 18th floor. In doing so I learned the lesson of making sure battery is fully charged before doing long exposure on bulb. 2nd one one I have used LR3 to recover 1 stop of light from darkness

I got Photoshop CS 5.1 Extd. which includes ACR 6.3. This is a real boost for 645D raw files! I went out and shot some trivial autumn pictures but the colours and the details amaze me.
Shot with a Pentax 645D, FA 75mm and 67 100mm Macro.

Indeed, the latest ACR is more worth getting than upgrading the camera in many cases! Nice images of yours, but perhaps there's some sort of a color cast there as well?

I haven't shot MF for a long time now, but yesterday I decided to finish the Tmax 400 roll in the Bessa III. So I grabbed the tripod and took a little walk just around the block.

This week in Hamburg I bought the FA 400 f/5.6 and the FA 120 f/4 Macro. Still waiting to really try the 400mm lens out, but really happy with the Macro.
