itshimitis, another very beautiful pictures here, the last one shocked me at once, when i saw the helmet size and the head of the boy soldier.

Great work here.
Thanks very much!

The previous night I went out and shot some photos of the unknown soldier memorial

Near disaster on that photo shoot. I had the big medium format digital camera on tripod. After the shoot, I was putting stuff in my bag. A big gust blew my tripod over nose (lens) first. The filter smashed into a million pieces, but protected the len's front element. The camera is weather sealed which helped protect it from the sand. My wide angle lens survived with only a pin point mark in the lens coating.

Finally managed to shoot my first 120 roll of Provia 100F with my 67.

This is a shot of some of the local Pear orchards. Pear farming was the main industry in the Rogue Valley for 70+ years but due to the costs of farming and the profits in developing, the number of orchards is getting smaller every year.

Very nice Provia shots, Colton. Provia is such a nice film. Your Rogue Valley shots bring back lots of memories. I partied and swam many times in Emigrant Lake, as I lived in Ashland from 1972 to 1976 while going to college.

This is the first time I have used off camera flash, and I have plenty to learn there!

My wife bought me a fantastic Faberge watch for my 40th birthday, and I rather suspect that I wear it too often from the scratches on the 18 carat gold body of the watch.

Two of the hardest things to shoot in the studio are glass and metal. In the case of metal, the best light is indirect and diffuse. I would either put large sheets of paper or translucent plastic between the watch and lights or I would reflect the light off large surfaces. Tenting the watch in white fabric would be good as well.
