Great colors. The Olympics were certainly well hosted. The rock fences in your earlier posts must have taken many years to complete. They are simply wonderful captured we don't have anything like them or the lush green land near my home.

Congratulations Great shot! It is such a wonderful camera and system. I got myself a 67 system only last year (tell us some more about your photo, what lens, film, tripod, scanner? If you please). Regards

This was taken handheld, using spot metering, with the 105mm 2.4, slightly closed diaph, using portra 160, scanned with epson perfection 750 and passed into BW with photoshop (working with color levels bw conversion) On other images, I decided to keep the natural portra colors, as beautiful flowers are covering the ground around, I unfortunately can't show the other images of this set as it contains nudity, Passed this one BW as colour didn't add anything to the image.

I´ll complement yours with one I took last year in Ladakh, Western Indian Himalaya. My equipment and post proces comes very close to yours in this one, exept it was taken with an older 6X7 (..I did´t have the 67II at that time). Another difference is, that I don´t have shots of her containing nudity

Spent much of the day in Newcastle before heading home to prepare for my second trip to Korea this year. Found so much choice of subjects. Newcastle is a great city for photography. It has everything - transport, architecture, water. It's also where I bought my very first DSLR - the Canon 400D. Of course, I hardly scratched the surface, but here are a few more:

Morning view down the Tyne:

Pentax 645D FA 45 - 85 at f/8 and 70mm 1/160 ISO 200

One of the major venues in Newcastle is actually in Gateshead - The Sage:

Pentax 645D FA 35 at f/11 1/50 ISO 100

Tried some different angles on the Olympic rings on the Tyne Bridge:

Pentax 645D FA 45 - 85 at f/8 and 75mm 1/125 and ISO 100

same settings

Around the corner from the bridge was the interestingly named Dog Leap Stairs:

Pentax 645D FA 35 at f/8 1/60 ISO 800 converted in Silver efex

I then walked to the high level bridge over the Tyne and took some shots of the Tyne bridges from behind:

Pentax 645D FA 35 at f/16 1/125 ISO 200

Later made my way to the station for my journey to London King's Cross en route to Wales. This is looking towards the north end of the station and you can just make out the castle keep:

Pentax 645D FA 35 at f/11 1/60 ISO 200

and the view through the electric wires at the end of the platform;

Pentax 645D FA 120 macro at f/11 1/200 ISO 200

I took this yesterday while birding. Unfortunately few birds but I did like this. I hope you enjoy as well.

Here's another from the evening shoot. Ten minutes earlier, the Tyne was perfectly still. Still like this shot though!

Pentax 645D FA 45 - 85 at 85mm f/9.5 25 secs ISO 100

Processed some more shots from this particular day - last Saturday.

The day started damp and cloudy with the Helvellyn range firmly under a blanket of low cloud. The weather got better as the day wore on.

We stopped at the car park some way back down the Patterdale end of the Kirkstone Pass and I took a few photos there:

Pentax 645D FA 35 at f/11 1/80 ISO 200

I felt a little sorry for this cyclist as it is a fairly long climb - not as difficult as Hardknott and Wrynose Passes (both I in 3's) but hard enough

Same camera and lens f/9.5 1/100 ISO 200

Same, converted in Silver Efex

Another Ashness Bridge shot:

Pentax 645D FA 35 at f/16 1/60 ISO 200

looking over the boats to Catbells on Derwent Water:

f/9.5 1/125 ISO 250

From one of the boats on Derwent water looking across to Skiddaw and Blencathra

f/8 1/125 ISO 100

And a 6:17 pano crop of the same shot

Wichita Mountains

While traveling through Oklahoma in July I stopped to take a few pics. I hope to visit again sometime as I was unable to travel throughout the reserve. Others photos to come.
