In the Gorge

I was able to do a short trip along the Columbia River Gorge this Summer, and chase down my favorite landscape subjects: waterfalls. Here are a couple of shots I was happy with, all taken with my 645D, and 35mm A or 80-160 FA lens.

During PP I tried a slight cross processed look on this BW shot and I think the sand came out nicely because of it.

New proud owner of Pentax 67

Hey
I`m new here and I`m a proud owner of my first medium format Pentax 67 camera so I like to present a few pictures of my beast and some first photographs taken. I was looking for Pentax 67 within my low budget range and there was not easy to find one in the UK. I was trying to get one from the USA but I was afraid to pay the Duty tax and other costs I was not aware of. After a few weeks I get one in bad condition but fully working and I was happy to restore/clean, buy TTL Prism for it and amazing rosewood handle, plus new seal for the prism. Now I love it and I can`t wait to take more photos with it.

This is what I get - doesn`t look to impressive but this was before I cleaned, replace the prism and seal, add rosewood handle :-).

And this is my beauty after some work was done - so I`m very happy now and looking after to get some advice from experienced 67 users.

And some my first photographs taken with it. Keep in mind that I was taking those pictures before getting TTL Prism so I was using my Pentax K5 to meter the light and apply setting to this beast :-).

Pictures taken in the amazing British island - Isle Of Wight.

Pentax 67, Fuji Velvia 100 Pro, Pentax 6x7 200mm f/4, Epson v500

Pentax 67, Fuji Velvia 100 Pro, Pentax 6x7 200mm f/4, Epson v500

Pentax 67, Fuji Velvia 100 Pro, Pentax 6x7 200mm f/4, Epson v500

So I hope you like it and if you don`t mind I have some question already :-), Is it normal with Fuji Velvia 100 Pro to getting this Purples/Magentas colors in the photo/scans or my Epson v500 have to be set properly? This first picture was already adjusted and still those colors are strongly visible.

Thank You

Thomas

Love those landscapes Tomart,
I'm not sure about the colour cast with Velvia100, is it visible on the negative or did the scanning change the WB?

Hey
Thank you for comments Paulusje and Kenafein.

As I don`t have yet any magnifying glass loop so it`s difficult to say at the moment but I think problem is with my scanner Epson V500 I try to play with it a bit and will see if I get any other results. Frem just a few days I`m using VueScan so I`m not so familiar yet with the software and film scanning is the completely new experience for me as well :-).
I found in internet some information abut Calibration Targets IT 8.7 for scanners so maybe I try one of those and will see what happens.

Thank you for help anyway.
