Ryan, some of my favorite shots I've seen from the 645D. Brought some beauty into my day, thank you!

Ryan, i prefer the vertical one, and the B&W in second post (better contrast).
Thanks for the input, I like the B&W more also. I like both aspen images, but slightly prefer the horizontal.

I put the larger watermark on them for sharing on facebook so that when people 'steal' them at least their friends know where it came from. I guess I could save an entirely different version just for this forum, but it all takes time...
I certainly don't expect you to go through extra effort for me. Keep posting, your work is always impressive, watermark or not.

In Utah, the intensity of reds in our mix of fall colors, never seem to match New England reds but this year at the higher elevations in Zion National Park, the reds have been intense. Here is a multi-frame stitch, shot with 645D and 35mm, shot vertically. The location was the West Rim Trail, descending into Potato Valley. The elevation is approximately 6,000 + feet. It's a great hike but if done as a day hike from Lava Point to the West Rim Overlook and return, it's about a 17 mile day. The fall colors are now starting in the main Zion canyon at about 4500 feet.

From the same hike, here's a view of first light viewed from the West Rim Overlook, Zion National Park. Single frame, 645D and 35mm.

Lovely, I'll be heading that way in a few weeks...hoping to catch some color in the valley, narrows, and subway!

The fall colors in western NY have become quite intense recently. Here's an example with no saturation adjustment in PS. The magenta vine is Virginia Creeper.
75mm FA, 645D.

This one is sort of fun...a field of sunflowers just north of Minneapolis, MN

Pentax 645D, 35mm A, ISO 400, f/16, 1/500 sec. The final image is a result of "focus bracketing" -two images blended to obtain the DOF I was hoping for, but could not capture in a single exposure, even at f/22.

You folk in the eastern U.S. are so lucky. Here on the Pacific NW Coast we get almost zero fall color. Our trees tend toward dull, brownish yellow with vine maple and huckleberry being the outstanding exceptions on the red end of things.

Well we are lucky in some ways, but you have the Cascades, the Olympic peninsula, Vancouver Island, Eastern Washington, the Pacific Ocean shoreline - need I go on?
