You may not get the "reds of autumn", but you sure have a lot of green year-round! And you don't have to deal with the extreme blizzards, snow, and ice of the Midwest and Northeast.

Friday was my youngest sisters wedding. I'm not a wedding photographer and besides, a family member often doesn't have time to properly shoot a wedding so they had acquaintance semi-pro do the photography. I wanted to do some nice posed portraits for them using film though, so before the ceremony, we did a little shoot. I had my 67 loaded with 400TMY and also a 645n loaded with New Portra 160. I had the 645n setup on a tripod with a FA 645 45-85mm attached, and shot my 67 handheld with WLF and a 45/4 attached. my brother helped out with a 42" reflector for a bit of fill light.
I haven't had the 400TMY developed yet but here are a few of the Portra shots from the 645n. After scanning I did some tone curve adjustments and then some color curve (ACDSee Pro) adjustments, then minor cropping and finally resize for web.

@paulusje:
The trail with the trees is so beautifull!
That sun makes it difficult to expose properly, but it is well done.

Impressive to see how good that 105mm wide open is

You develop your own films, or let you do that by someone else?

Henk

Thanks Henk!
I exposed for the shadows in this case, take the following with a grain of salt as I'm not an experienced shooter by any means.
Usually when I use the prism with the lightmeter I just point the camera at the sky and I memorize the position of the needle on the lightmeter. After that I point the camera at the darker parts of the frame (and block the sun with my hand) and I meter the light again. Depending on the difference between the two readings I choose my exposure. It all depends on the look you want obviously, but this is what works ok for me. I really want a spotmeter though.

My copy of the 45mm lens has some scratches on the protective front glass so I had to bump contrast some in post and there is more flare than I care for, but I can't complain for 170 euro's

The 105 is ok wide open, I did sharpen the full size image and then again some during resizing. what I like most about this lens is the rendering of the out of focus areas and the swirly bokeh you can get at times.

I develop my own BW film and send out my colour film at the moment.

I like the selective focus. I'm not sure how you "push" with stand development though.

Nice shot Paul. liitle grainy, but that's no problem to be honest

Thanks tuco,
For box speed development I agitate slowly for 1 minute (approx. 20 times) and I let it stand for an hour. After 30 minutes I swirl the tank like a glass of wine for 15 seconds.
For a 1 stop push I just add 1 minute to the initial agitation period.
For more stops it's 1 minute of agitation in the beginning and a longer stand period (120 minutes with swirling every half hour)
I got the idea from P Lynn Miller:

Thanks Henk, yes the water was warmer than usual so I should have agitated a bit less. It's also my first try with this film. But it's not too bad I think
