Nope, I rarely bracket for exposure anytime on BW film. You will find BW film so much more forgiving with it's exposure latitude than positive film. I do frequently take the exact same shot multiple times as a backup ( esp first/last frames on the roll) in case of a issue loading the real or local developing problems.

I'll give it a whirl and see what I come back with. Thanks for the info!

I don't remember the exposure time. I shot this while waiting for it to get darker and do a longer exposure. But I liked this one better. I used the Sun Surveyor App on my phone to line up the camera and find the Celestial Pole since it was too bright out to see the North Star when I set up. It's an app for photographers too. It has an azimuth/altitude spherical overlay in the phone's camera for a live view. It came in handy.
That's awesome, looks like that cabin is about to get sucked into the void

I will have to check out the "Sun Surveyor" app, my buddy has a "Moon" app that probably performs a similar function, and has come in handy. I don't shoot very many photos with my phone, but it still can serve as a great tool for photography.

Thanks. The app is mostly geared for finding the sun/moon rise/set/current angles plotted on a map as well as their ephemeral data. But the overlay in live view on the phone's camera is pretty cool feature.

Congrats on the new lens. It's a handy one. I have stacked two filters on it before with no vignetting.

This isn't a medium format image, but it's kinda about one so I figured I'd share it.
Last night was my first ever gallery showing of my photos. I had 4 images on display, 3 were from digital and one was a medium format film image. The show was a huge success, lot's of people came out and I sold all 4 pieces plus another one.
This is a photo of me next to 2 of my images ( the bottom one was shot with a Pentax 67 on Provia 100F). This photo was taken by my wife, using my Pentax Q.
Congratulations to you Swift1 and nice that you sold out +1 too

Im in Iceland over the summer and am going out and about with my 67s (+ a three meter tall pod and a small ladder) Got some Velvia 50, Ektar 100 and TMY 100 with me

See you guys, enjoy the summer

Wow, you got that close. I'd be afraid the mother would be around to kick my butt.

I have to spend more time in here. Been through the whole thread now, and back to a few spots several times. Loving the film imagery - from both the film systems.

nice, GRG! and f/11 on that second one?, I would've never thought. fine work
Thanks! Yeah - f/11. It is a crop, and I needed a bit more DOF but ran out of shutter speed (no tripod with me). Still getting used to the differences with this new system.

Nice website - I think the Spirit of San Francisco gallery is my favorite. Beautiful city, you capture it wonderfully. Love the work in the Inspiring Places and Black and White galleries as well.

I'm still learning close-up photography, but here are some amateur photos of mine.
The first one is wild. Wonderful detail. Nice colors throughout. Love the flow of the last one.
