Great photos, Pete!

What was the taking camera? And is that a Canon EOS you've got there?

OK - just got my Pentax 645D and back from the its first outing….

Both with the 35mm manual focus Lens

For the reasons why I am moving from a Nikon D800e to the 645D click here to see my write-up in my Blog "Moving to the Larger Size"
An interesting enough read to peak my interest. Would like to hear how the 645d is getting along with you.

Thanks! Pentax 67 with the 165 2.8. Scanned ektar 100.

Here's the canon image Ian took of me shooting him

And you're correct, my digital system (which doubles as my pentax 67 light meter) is an old EOS 5D.

5Ds are great, even if they aren't very Pentaxian. I've considered getting one just to have a Full-Framer but the Canon EOS glass is insanely expensive compared to my actual budget.

Thanks to you I did order a 165/2.8, and I also cherry-picked the wide end with a 45/4 and a 75/4.5, based on their sharpness. I decided I didn't need the 55, as the other two are great and the 55 is too close to both of them.

You will love it if your sample is anything like mine! I am also planning to purchase the 75 and 45 in the future, but for now I'm enjoying the 100mm macro and 165mm.

Cheers!

I've posted pics in this thread before, but the images have now disappeared... Here are a couple with the glorious Pentax-67 100mm f/4 Macro not long after I got it.
The first looks just as you'd expect a college professor and weekly newspaper columnist to look, right? Surprised sitting on the curb eating strudel.
Hmmm... the forum has shrunk 'em!

This photo was taken at in a basement bar here in PDX. Found in the basement of a men's barber shop, this bar has a "train" theme. You may sit in a in a booth equipped with a velvet curtain and live video feed of the NW and PDX passing you by. There are even train sounds playing in the background. What there isn't....is a lot of light. Two candles and a video screen isn't ideal for chess or photography. I shot this with my 60mm @ f/3.5 and I think around a 1/15 of a sec. Even with the under-exposure and grain I am still happy with the result as I feel the images create a mood of sorts.

Images shot on my Hasselblad with T-Max 400 pushed to 1600

Wonderful photos everyone! This thread is my favourite on this site.

Here´s few pictures with my Pentax 6x7 and 105mm 2.4 lens. These were shot on fuji acros and developed in pyrocat HD 1+1+200 for 60 minutes with few agitations at 30 min. mark. Scanned with Epson V500.

A few weeks ago this came from the first roll through a newly acquired 6x7 MLU with a 75mm f/4.5 lens & Provia 100 and fading light:
