Nice images.
Originally posted by filoxophy I'm loving the process of using this camera. The larger size, waist-level viewing, lack of meter, and 10-shot rolls of film sharpen my photographic senses, I think. Not that I've become a better photographer, but I really have to commit to a shot before I trip that shutter. Anyway, you all here on this thread know these things.
Using the analog photographic process is like living in the country. As you drive away from the city, the traffic diminishes. The road changes from 4 lanes to 2, then to gravel.
As you get out of the car you notice how quiet it is. You hear the birds, the water in the nearby river.
Everything slows down and becomes deliberate.
Very much like analog photography.
I recently picked up a Cambo 4x5 camera. Still learning the process, how to "make" a photograph. Although it is a much more simple collection of equipment, i.e. no overwhelming collection of buttons, dials and menus, one must concentrate and completely focus on composition, exposure, etc.
And remember to close the shutter before removing the dark slide!
