6545z

I like the shots from the 645Z. The black and whites are great as are the glacial shots.

The double exposures are well done and a throwback to times past.

Pentax 645 with Velvia and 600mm. I like old graveyards as well.

This is an accidental double exposure. It happens on a 500C/M when you switch backs and forget to advance the frame after your last shot with that back.

I like it. Almost looks like you did it on purpose.

645z First Shots

Received my 645z Tuesday from B&H. This is the finest camera I have ever used. It is a joy to use and shoot. Here are a couple of pictures I took at an old hotel here in California. Even though that's room 14 1/2 in the background, it's not the Bates Hotel.

I don't remember such a flood of 645D users and pictures when that model first came out. I think the 645Z is a lot more appealing to people.

I'll be sticking to film though

645Z - 35mm A Lens
3 Old friends Fishing at sunset.
Port Macquarie, NSW Australia.

This is one exposure. I deliberately under exposed this shot and recovered noise-free shadows in Raw. Something my Canon could never do.

It's common with Sony sensors to be able to pull up the shadows a lot.
And that is part of the reason I went with the 645z. its refreshing to have so much to play with in post.
