Since four years enjoying making pictures. Always shot with Sony FF. Last year I met a person making pictures with the 645 D. It was love at first sight, the "look and feel" of that camera was for me - as a landscape photographer - superb. Decided that I would make the switch. Once the news was out the 645 Z was being to be launched I pre-ordered it. 2 weeks ago it arrived together with the 55mm kit-lens. I also bought the 25 mm lens with which this image was recorded. Also I bought second hand a 80-160 and a 35A. I'm very glad I made the decision to switch. It feels much nicer and, to me, the pictures look more beautiful.

On the photo here you see the Lago Maggiore.
Exif: 1/8 sec, F14, ISO 100 polarised.

Nice as always mike. I really like the top one. Im interested to know what pano setup you are using, and could you share a picture of the set up? Im looking at options for my 645Z... Trying to avoid parallax!

Thanks Tom! I shoot many a pano and so far have never had a need for any nodal correction equipment. I guess i rarely place close foreground objects in my pano comps to cause significant parallax error. For mid-ground objects, all the current pano stitching software seems to take care of it automatically. I did sit down and fiddle with a couple of special pano rigs in the past and concluded that:

1) i don't trust the sturdiness of the bracket style rigs to not translate vibration to the image
2) I don't want to fiddle with a nodal rig in the dark or in cold windy weather, or when the light is changing and i want to be shooting
3) I havent experienced any issues with stitching yet.

I use Photoshop CC 2014 primarily for the stitching. I used to use Hugin for all my panos and think it does a better job with the tricky ones, but PS is faster and handles 90% of them just fine and with better blending of frames. Hugin used to choke on vertical panos (such as a tall tree or the Eiffel tower, for example), but perhaps they solved it in the latest version, i don't know.
